Marks in this category come from parking a head at maximum pressure on cold, unprepared skin. That's a technique problem, and the graded controls exist to prevent it.
It extracts — provided the pore is soft. Three minutes of steam or a hot shower first is the difference between a full chamber and a wasted session. On a properly warmed nose you'll see sebum, filaments and oxidised plugs collect in the clear tip. That transparency is deliberate: you can verify it worked instead of hoping.

Sensitive or thin skin: Grade 1 with the small round head — many customers never leave Grade 1 and get everything they need.
