MAGNACLASH

20 magnets  /  1 rope  /  0 mercy

You can’t feel
gravity.
You’ll feel this.

Twenty faceted magnets. One rope arena. Place them all without a single snap. The force is invisible, it never stops pulling, and it gets stronger with every piece on the table.

Ages 8+ · 1–4 players · no batteries, no board, no setup

  • ⚡ Learn it in 30 seconds
  • ⚡ Fits in a jacket pocket
  • ⚡ Rounds run 3–6 minutes
  • ⚡ Nothing on it can break

Exhibit A / the snap

The flinch
is the whole
game.

Nobody screams over a board game. Everybody screams over this one. Sound on — watch what happens to a table of adults when two magnets decide they’ve waited long enough.

Reel 01 / unmuted Tap for sound

The rules, in full

Three steps.
Then chaos.

No rulebook to study, no board to assemble. You’ll be playing before the first person finishes reading this.

01

Drop the rope

Throw the cord into any shape. That loop is the arena. Wide for mercy, tight for war.

02

Split the magnets

Divide all twenty evenly. Take turns placing one piece at a time, flat, fully inside the rope.

03

Don’t let them clash

If your piece snaps to another, you take the whole cluster back. Empty your hand first and you win.

Placement / close range

Steady hands lie. The magnets don’t.

Why it doesn’t die in the closet

Four things
nobody can
copy.

The board changes every round

It’s a rope, not a grid. Loose oval, tight circle, cruel little pinch — you redraw the battlefield before every game, so no two matches are ever the same.

Infinite arenas / zero cardboard

Weighted pieces, not plastic chips

Twenty faceted magnets with real heft. You feel the pull fighting your fingers on the way down. That resistance is the whole experience, and lighter parts can’t fake it.

Cut facets / matte finish / real weight

Plays anywhere flat

Kitchen table, hotel nightstand, tray table at 30,000 feet, a flat rock at camp. It all lives in one drawstring bag. No power, no screen, no setup.

Pocket-sized / travel-proof

The difficulty builds itself

Every piece you place makes the next one harder. There’s no difficulty setting because the table becomes the difficulty setting. By magnet fourteen, people are holding their breath.

Easy to learn / brutal to finish

One rope · twenty magnets · carry bag · instructions

Reel 02 / unmuted Tap for sound

Nobody plays one round

One snap
and the table
resets.

That’s the loop that eats an evening. A round takes minutes. A rematch takes seconds to start. Then it’s eleven o’clock and somebody is arguing about whether a magnet “really” moved.

Field footage

Three ways
to lose.

The over-commit

Too close to the cluster.

The slow drift

It looked safe for two seconds.

The chain reaction

One goes. Then four more.

Ask the hard ones

Answers,
no dodging.

Is this just rocks and a shoelace?

No. Twenty precision-cast faceted magnets with real weight, plus a braided cord arena that reshapes every round. The rope is the feature. A rigid board gives you the same layout forever; this gives you a new one every game.

Won’t it be over in ninety seconds?

A round is short on purpose. The failure loop stretches it: one clash and the whole cluster comes back to your hand. First-timers routinely play eight or nine straight rounds. Shrink the rope and it gets meaner instantly.

Are the magnets safe for kids?

Rated ages 8+. These are full-size faceted pieces you grip in your fingers, not tiny spheres, and there are no batteries or small electronic parts. Keep them away from children under 8 and from pacemakers and medical devices, as with any magnet.

Will it scratch or damage my table?

Pieces have a smooth cast finish and are placed by hand, not dropped or slid. Wood, glass, stone, laminate — if it’s flat, it’s a valid arena. Keep them off hard drives, cards and screens, standard for any magnet set.

How durable is it, actually?

There’s almost nothing to break. No hinges, no electronics, no printed board to tear or warp, no cards to bend. Solid pieces and a braided cord. It goes in a bag and comes out the same six months later.

Can I play alone?

Yes. Solo it becomes a nerve test: place all twenty without a single clash. One snap and you start over from an empty rope. It’s the version people accidentally lose an hour to.

How fast does it ship, and what if I don’t love it?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days with tracking sent when your parcel leaves. If it doesn’t land the way you expected, contact support within 30 days of delivery for a return or replacement. Full terms are linked in the site footer.

Is this a decent gift?

It’s the rare one that gets opened and immediately played instead of shelved. No assembly, no rules lecture, no age gate past 8. It works on a coffee table thirty seconds after the wrapping comes off.
